Warmer continue helped farmers make poignant planting swell final week.  Fifty-four percent of a state’s corn stand has been planted and 26 percent emerged.  Fourteen percent of soybeans have been planted.  Ninety-eight percent of a winter wheat stand has jointed and 81 percent headed.  Sixty-one percent of a stand is rated good to excellent.
