EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) — For a past 4 years, WEAU and a Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation has handed out Golden Apple Awards to teachers and several staff members in a 20 schools in a district.
Friday, in a Golden Apple first, we commend a stadium administrator during Longfellow Elementary School who has been gripping kids protected some-more 20 years.
“What we’re doing is thanking Mrs. Hoenisch for all her tough work given she’s a Golden Apple”
That’s Longfellow Principal Sarah Fisher pity a good news for Denise Hoenisch, and to uncover their appreciation for her, each child during Longfellow lined adult to give her a hug.
Denise says recess is a really critical partial of each kid’s day, a time to recover all their pent adult energy.
“Unbelievable thing to see them grow, mature, turn immature adults. we wouldn’t be doing it if we didn’t adore it. Every child and we will contend it when we’re articulate to them, they know I’m fair, and I’m entrance from a place of overtly assisting them and perplexing to get by whatever conditions and everybody creates not so good choices infrequently though i consider they all know where i’m entrance from.”

She’s a good purpose indication for kids and is satisfactory to everyone. She’s here each day with a certain attitude, creation certain that kids are staying protected and carrying fun and only amatory Longfellow.”
For her dual decades of dedication, Denise and Longfellow will both accept $500 from a Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation. Hoenisch will accept her Golden Apple clear during a party on Apr 16.
