Bicyclist airlifted after collision with a pickup lorry in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 55-year-old bicyclist was airlifted in vicious condition after a collision with a pickup lorry Tuesday afternoon in Apple Valley.

It happened during about 12:19 pm, on Apr 14, 2020, in a area of Corwin and Central Roads, nearby a Apple Valley Airport.

Upon arrival, puncture crew located a nonchalant masculine down in a alley and a 2019 white Toyota Tacoma with vital front finish damage.

Firefighters from a Apple Valley Fire Protection District requested a helicopter land during a airfield and a bicyclist was subsequently airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Mumford told VVNG, a bicyclist was roving west on Corwin Road and a 67-year-old male from Apple Valley was pushing a lorry north on Central Road, coming Corwin Road.

“For reasons still underneath investigation, a bicyclist unsuccessful to stop during a posted stop pointer located on Corwin Road,” settled Mumford. “The bicyclist trafficked into a trail of a Toyota Tacoma where a collision occurred.”
