Petrovich was a partner of a outdoor and a “firm follower in holding daily walks in a fever and around trees … even if it was raining,” Caroline said. “We both common a adore of fishing and snowshoeing. She didn’t only keep reminding about vital a life with purpose, she truly did it herself.”

Petrovich’s dual sons stayed with her off and on over a years, and she never spoke of difficulty during home, Caroline said.

“I’m totally floored … during what can occur behind sealed doors,” she said. “But we would have never guessed that there would be any difficulty of this magnitude.”

Petrovich and her longtime husband, James, divorced several years ago. He died in July.
